A Lincoln city break for two

Plan a weekend break in Lincoln or stay a little longer. Enjoy time together, a self-catering place of your own and historic Lincoln on your doorstep.

Make The Nook your home in Lincoln

The Nook is a quirky, characterful self-catering stay best suited to two guests. At the foot of Steep Hill, it puts independent shops and restaurants close by, with Lincoln’s historic sights ready to explore at your own pace.

You can spend the day out, return for a quiet evening or mix eating in with trying the city’s restaurants. Having your own kitchen and sitting room gives you the freedom to choose, without fitting every day around a fixed schedule.

A little outdoor space of your own

The upstairs double bedroom opens onto a balcony, and there is a private courtyard too. Start the day with a coffee, pause between outings or settle into the sitting room with its log burner when the weather calls for a cosy evening.

Fresh bed linen and towels, Wi-Fi, tea and coffee and key-code access are included. The log burner comes with two complimentary eco logs. Look through the cottage photos to see the bedroom, mezzanine, kitchen and outdoor spaces before choosing your dates.

Explore at your own pace

Browse the shops around Steep Hill, plan a visit to the Castle and Cathedral, or head towards the waterfront. The homepage has ten ideas for days out in Lincoln, with links to visitor information to help you plan.

The Nook is at the foot of the hill, so exploring the Cathedral Quarter means an uphill walk. Its bedroom is also upstairs. Contact David before booking if access or mobility needs might affect your stay.
